Ⅰ. Indoor staircase railings height specification
The standard for interior staircase decoration is 90cm. When the length of the staircase exceeds 5 meters, the height of the stair railing can be appropriately raised to 100cm. In addition, if there are children in the home, for safety reasons, the height of the railings of the stairs should also be set to 100cm.
Ⅱ. Specification for outdoor stair railings
When the overhead height is less than 24 meters, the outdoor shared staircase railings height should not be less than 105cm , and when the overhead height is more than 24 meters, the outdoor staircase railings height should not be less than 110cm.
Ⅲ. Other matters needing attention in the installation of stair railings
1. Algorithm for the height of stair railing: the vertical height from the stair step surface or roof to the top surface of the stair railing is the calculation method for the height of the stair railing.
2. The clearance between the vertical bars of the railing should not be greater than 11cm, especially if there are children at home.
3. The railing should not be left blank within 10cm from the floor or roof.
